I hope you had a great first day! I am very excited to teach you and am so glad you are on Team 601! Of the packet of forms you received, these are the ones you need to have completed and returned in order to get your locker:
Please let me know if you have any questions. Students, I will be happy to answer them in class. Parents, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you so much!

Bell Work - Complete "Who I Am," so that I can know you better. Please add more information on the other side of this graphic organizer if you want to share more with me.
Classwork - Before we begin the first unit, I need to know where you are on a few things.
- Multiplication Facts Pretest - How quick and accurate are you? Results will be returned soon along with a plan of action to help you improve either your speed, accuracy, or both. Stay tuned!
- Unit 1 Pretest - Can you still apply the four operations with decimals? Do you remember how to find the GCF and LCM? How do you use the distributive property to rewrite the sum of two numbers? Can you divide with fractions, and can you apply this skill?
Homework - (1) Finish "Who I Am." (2) Bring your sewn composition notebook to class tomorrow. We will set it up and create our first foldables for Unit 1.
